DOGA Staff

Anita focuses on the strategic use of design in innovation processes in both the public and private sector. She is particularly interested in increasing awareness among administrators and managers of the value that design methodology can bring to a business. She earned her degree from the BI Norwegian Business School and has been both a project manager for the Designdrevet Innovasjonsprogram (Design-Driven Innovation Program, DIP) and a board member at DOGA. Anita recently completed a course in organisational development, innovation and societal responsibility at BI.

As an advisor for DOGA’s Design-Driven Innovation Program, Anne Elisabeth works to strengthen the competitive strength and innovation ability of the Norwegian business community. She lived in both London and the U.S. for many years, earned a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics (LSE) and has 20 years of experience in the international and Norwegian business sectors. Anne Elisabeth has also worked for JP Morgan, Geelmuyden.Kiese and Forsvarsbygg/Akershus Fortress. She has also completed a programme in Architectural History at the University of Oxford and Garden Design at Cornell University.

Benedicte is a graduate graphic designer from the United States, and has profound competence in planning for strategic and tactical use of design in the public and private sectors. She has experience in developing multi-stakeholder, user-centric innovation work within or between organizations, especially related to the early phase. Benedicte has been responsible for DOGA's work with StimuLab, developed by Difi and DOGA in partnership. Benedicte is part of DOGA's welfare and health team.

As HR Manager, Bjørg works together closely with the board of directors, managers, representatives and other collaborative partners and contributes to the development of the organisation. She is also responsible for health, safety and the environment. Bjørg has extensive practical HR experience in a variety of sectors, studied Pedagogy in Denmark and holds a degree from the BI Norwegian Business School.

Bjørg has worked as an accountant for many years and is a true jack-of-all-trades. At DOGA, she is takes care of all the invoices related to the running of the DOGA building, as well as other ongoing tasks related to DOGA's accounts.

Celina is one of DOGA’s accountants and is responsible for financial matters, including incoming and outgoing invoices and monitoring the flow of documents within the company. Celina studied Economics at the University of Oslo and University College of Southeast Norway and began working on a Master’s degree in Political Science in the fall of 2017.

Chris is an advisor in DOGA's strategic urban development initiative. He is involved in developing existing projects and contributing to the development of new activities. Chris has a bachelor degree in Building Design and Construction from Northumbria University and has many years of experience in the real estate industry. In addition, he has expertise in process design and leadership related to interpersonal communication. In recent years, he has engaged in urban development activities related to social sustainability, social entrepreneurship and local community projects.

Elisabeth is Head of Finance and Administration at DOGA. She earned her Bachelor’s in Economics from the BI Norwegian Business School, specialising in Human Resource Management and Marketing.

Ellen works in communications at DOGA, both externally and internally. With a background in language, culture and communication studies at the University of Oslo, she is a text and language expert. Ellen has extensive experience as a communications advisor in various sectors, including for Norsk Folkehjelp (Norwegian People’s Aid) and Forskningsrådet (Research Council of Norway).

Ellen Margrethe focuses on exhibitions and information/communication. She is more than happy to take you on a guided tour and/or city tour and is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic storyteller. She earned her Master’s from the University of Oslo, specialising in Art History, Literary Science and the History of Ideas. Ellen Margrethe has previously worked in the field of communication at various cultural institutions in Oslo.

Gro welcomes all visitors to DOGA, and if you have an event it is Gro you should contact. She is also the project manager for DOGA's course in service design (the At One method) and the Masterclass course in information design and data visualization.

Hanne works with communications and is in charge of social media and video production at DOGA. She holds a master's degree in journalism, two bachelor's degrees – in design and media science, and has many years of work experience from communications, including from the U.S. Embassy in Oslo.

Ida has worked at DOGA since 2012 and is responsible for preparing for the design weeks in London, Milan, New York and Stockholm. She has an educational background in visual communication, PR and media and many years of experience producing events and exhibitions. Ida has previously worked with communication and profiling in both the public and private sectors.

Ingerid Helsing Almaas is Head of Strategic Initiative Welfare and Health at DOGA. She also works with DOGA’s international projects. Ingerid is an architect MNAL. She trained and practiced in Great Britain, and has taught and lectured at several universities, nationally and internationally. She has worked as a writer and critic for publications at home and abroad, and was editor-in-chief of Arkitektur N, the Norwegian Review of Architecture, from 2004–2017.

Ingvil’s speciality is cooperation and social sustainability in city and urban development. She is currently working to develop tools and methods to ensure compliance with the municipality’s legal obligation to involve residents in the planning process. Previously, Ingvil has worked as an advisor in Oppland county municipality and as a planning architect at several architectural firms, including Asplan Viak. She earned her degree in Civil Architecture from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design and has also completed courses in land use planning and regional planning. Ingvil is part of DOGA's team Welfare and Health.

Jannicke focuses on design and sustainability through Framtanker, Oslo Manifesto and the business network for green growth. She is also responsible for programmes and workshops in design management and service design. Jannicke earned her degree from the Handelsakademiet (currently the Oslo Business School) and completed the Sustainability Leadership program at Harvard. She also has experience in the daily management of start-ups and product and market management, both in Norway and abroad.

Juste works with public procurement, internal control, archives and document management. She solves administrative problems of all shapes and sizes and makes sure that everything functions in the most effective and agreeable manner possible. Juste holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Lithuania.

Knut earned his degree in Product and Graphic Design from the Art Center College of Design and has more than 25 years of experience in international and Norwegian design work. He advises companies on the strategic use of design, specialising in the use of design to solve complex challenges. Knut works with design and sustainability through Framtanker, Oslo Manifesto and the business network for green growth and completed the Sustainability Leadership program at Harvard.

Matti is responsible for filling the large exhibition hall at DOGA with meaningful content. She transforms empty rooms and flat surfaces into spaces that communicate stories and knowledge. Matti is a trained painter with a degree from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts and studied Product Design at the Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences. She has worked as an artist, curator and project manager in the fields of architecture and contemporary art. In addition to holding various board positions, she has also been a general and technical consultant for art projects in public space. Matti also has experience with hands-on collaboration projects and the use of temporality in the development of public space.

With a background in architecture and planning, Morten primarily works in urban development. His particular focus is on the connection between retail and urban development, such as how shopping centres affect their surroundings. Morten has also worked extensively with planning in Groruddalen and is intimately familiar with the problems associated with suburbs. He is currently working on the development of the Haugesund city centre and how digitisation affects urban development. Morten is also one of the initiators of the Architecture Film Festival in Oslo.

Siri’s focus at DOGA is on architecture and urban development from a societal perspective. Her work is both political and strategic and she is particularly enthusiastic about a living city centre and smart cities. Siri previously worked as a consultant and earned her degree in Civil Economics from the NHH Norwegian School of Economics and has completed additional courses in both design and urbanism. She also heads PechaKucha Night Oslo, held at DOGA four times a year.

Stine works as project manager of the DOGA Awards. She is particularly invested in promoting young, and newly established designers and architects. Her background is in communications and marketing, and previous roles include project manager and head of communications at Design Region Bergen, and editor at London start-up Stack.

Stine has a Master's degree in Publishing from University of the Arts London, and an executive education in Design Thinking from NHH Norwegian School of Economics.

Thea is a project manager for DOGA awards and aims to promote developments in design and architecture in Norway. She earned her Master’s in Industrial Design and helped start the American home design company Teroforma. Having worked together with professionals in Europe, Asia and the U.S., Thea has extensive international experience in design and market development.

Therese works with performance management in DOGA. She ensures that we document and report to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries (DOGA`s funding source). She also works with implementation and improvement of internal processes, and is responsible for document management, public procurement, archives and internal control. In addition she is the secretary of the board at DOGA. Therese has a Master of Business majoring in Management from Brisbane and a bachelor`s degree in business administration with emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurship.

Tor Inge is DOGA's Managing Director. He has a background in architecture and experience as a project manager for complex buildings and plans. He founded CONDITIONS and is the former head of the National Association of Norwegian Architects (NAL). Tor Inge has held lectures both in Norway and abroad and has been involved in education, curating and moderating. He also contributed to the biennial in Venice several times and is responsible for DOGAs international work.

Since 2009, Victoria has worked with project management for the Innovation Programme for All, which aims to promote inclusive and user-focused design process in the development of innovative products, services and environments that promote innovation and contribute to value creation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Design & Technology from the Vestfold University College and a Master’s in Visual Communication from NTNU.
