International work

After three years of success in Milan, Norwegian designers, craft artists and manufacturers unite under a new, common concept, directed by DOGA, Klubben and Norwegian Crafts.
Norwegian Presence: The making of modern Norway

In recent years, the Norwegian contributions to Milan Design Week have been a major international success and helped put Norwegian design and arts & crafts squarely on the map. We are now inviting designers to participate in a joint effort with manufacturers and arts & crafts specialists during the exhibition in April 2018. The application deadline is 6 October 2017.
Are you a designer and would like to participate in Milan Design Week?

DOGA is represented in several international networks and activities and also works to facilitate opportunities for Norwegian designers and architects to profile their work abroad.
International network

To develop Norwegian design and architecture into an international export success, DOGA works strategically to strengthen the presence of Norwegian designers and architects on international platforms.
Norwegian exhibitions abroad

Ten million Norwegian crowns have been earmarked to help Norwegian architects gain a foothold abroad. These export efforts are headed by Innovation Norway and Design and Architecture Norway (DOGA).
Sharing Norwegian architecture with the world

DOGA administers the Ministry of Foreign Affairs grant programme for architecture and design. Grants for travel and transportation expenses are awarded to professional architects and designers who will be exhibiting their work or holding a lecture at major international events.
Travel grants for designers and architects

After last year’s success in Milan, Norway aims to once again be strongly represented during Milan Design Week in April.
Everything is Connected – Norwegian contemporary crafts and design

Together with Innovation Norway and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, DOGA has prepared a report that investigates how other countries perceive Norway and Norwegian business and industry. The results show that DOGA’s efforts to strengthen the fields of design and architecture in Norway and internationally are both appropriate and effective.
Significant potential for Norwegian design and architecture

Design Week in Stockholm has now come and gone and the exhibition ‘A Colour Composition - New Norwegian Design’ at the Norwegian Embassy was a resounding success that attracted around 450 visitors on opening day.
