Innovation Award

Jurying

What is the jurying process?

Project management at DOGA will assess the quality of all eligible candidates that are to be evaluated by the jury. The jury assessment process takes place in two rounds in which one winner is selected for each category and then presented on the DOGA website and in various media channels. This takes place well ahead of the award presentation ceremony, when the main winner of the Innovation Award for Universal Design is announced.

What are the criteria for the jury assessment?

The solution will be assessed based on an integral quality perspective in which the main criteria are related to the choice of materials, functionality, aesthetics, sustainability and user experience. Innovation and universal design beyond the general legal requirement and minimum standards will receive particular attention. Read more about the concepts of innovation and universal design here.

How are the finalists and winner selected?

One winner is select within each category who has the best solution within that discipline based on the set criteria (see definitions here).
